This federal tax credit encourages people to make energy-conscious purchases that improve the energy efficiency of their home. It is a $300 dollar-for-dollar tax credit for purchasing a qualifying biomass-burning stove between January 1, 2015 and December 31, 2016. Biomass simply means the stove uses wood or pellet fuel.

RUSSELLVILLE, AL CAMPUS - VIDEO On October 28, 2014, we commemorated our grand re-opening of the expanded Russellville, Alabama manufacturing facility with a ribbon cutting ceremony and plant tour. The grand event was attended by numerous state and local officials including Senator Roger Bedford and State Representative Johnny Mack Morrow. Just 14 months ago, many of these same local officials attended the ground breaking event when the 220,000 sq ft expansion was announced. Since that time, the facility has been built, equipment has been purchased and 260 employees have been hired.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Feb. 26, 2014 – Innovative Hearth Products (IHP), the manufacturer of Lennox Hearth Products and FMI Products, including wood and pellet-fueled stoves as well as fireplace inserts, today issued a public statement about the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) new standards for wood heaters.
